Free Seminar on Genealogy Research

The Bailey Library will sponsor a free, half-day seminar on genealogy research on June 8, 2007 (Friday) from 9 am to noon at the Morris Lawrence Building on Washtenaw Community College campus.

A panel of experts will be on hand to give presentations on various aspects of genealogy research, such as census records, vital records, immigrant ancestors and African-American genealogical research, as well as to field questions from the seminar attendees.

The panel will consist of: Wally and Doris Patrick, long-time associates of the LDS Ann Arbor Family History Library;  Kris Rzepczynski, Genealogy Coordinator at the Library of Michigan; and Bobbie Snow, Librarian of the Genealogical Society of Washtenaw County.
